About Cure Leukaemia

Cure Leukaemia, founded in 2003 by Professor Charlie Craddock CBE and patients Graham Silk and Michael Woolley, is a national blood cancer charity dedicated to advancing access to lifesaving treatments through clinical trials. The charity funds the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP), a nationwide network of specialist research nurses in 15 UK cities, enabling the rapid delivery of blood cancer trials and offering patients access to groundbreaking treatments not available through standard care. In 2024, Cure Leukaemia launched the ATICUS Network, bringing together 11 leading children’s hospitals to improve outcomes for pediatric stem cell transplants. The charity’s vital work is powered by fundraising initiatives, donations, and corporate partnerships, providing opportunities for individuals and businesses to contribute to the fight against blood cancer.
